Is there an age limit for using the UTI kit? Can I use the kit if I'm over 60 years old?Updated a day ago
There is no age limit for using the Cadence UTI Emergency Relief Kit. There is an extra warning for people over 60 about potential stomach sensitivity (stomach bleeding) with NSAID pain relievers, including aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil), naproxen (Aleve). The infection control tablet in the Kit contains an NSAID pain reliever, and FDA requires a standard warning for all products containing an NSAID. If you are generally okay taking a NSAID for pain, then you should be okay using the UTI kit. Both methenamine and phenazopyridine medicines are generally considered safe in women over 60 for short term use (up to 3 days).
